Ahmed Tea – Warehouse & Offices, Winchester

Brief: Supply & installation of an extremely high quality storage system and laboratory.
Ahmed Tea, a World Leader in the Tea Industry, had out grown their existing premises and planned a move to a purpose built Office and Warehouse Building in Southampton.
CSS were contracted by Ahmed Tea to design and quote for the supply & installation of an extremely high quality storage system and Laboratory for their Tea Tasting Department which incidentally was on the fourth floor of their new premises.
Key criteria was centred on being able to house the many hundreds of different Tea samples ensuring that hygiene and cleanliness could be maintained at all times. Only the highest Quality products could match Ahmed Tea’s stringent requirements. CSS supplied and installed a unique storage system incorporating Drawer Storage & Cupboard units tailored exactly to the Clients requirements with Corian Work Surfaces with post formed edges.
The area housing the Tea samples was finished in the specific brown colour matching Ahmed Tea’s request whilst the Laboratory Area was finished in white. Corian Sinks were formed in both areas enabling the effective cleaning processes which have to take place constantly. Ahmed Tea also took advantage of our Industrial Equipment Catalogue, ordering Mobile Safety Steps, Barriers, Workbenches plus Stormor Adjustable Shelving.
