Brief: Racking & Shelving, Two Tier Mezzanine Floor, Partitions, Cantilever Racking and Fit Out
The RNLI developed a new national warehouse and distribution centre with associated offices.
The new building which measures 60m by 65m supplies the RNLI`s 224 lifeboat stations.
The RNLI, via their consultant, were looking for a contractor who could offer a design /consultant service, quality products, fast track installation and a complete long term sales service.
The project was awarded to Connect Storage Systems as they met all criteria, the project was completed in July 2004.
The design incorporates a two tier mezzanine floor with narrow aisle high bay racking and wide aisle high bay racking. This enables storage of smallest nuts and bolts up to large items like life boat engines.
Connect Storage Systems used racking and shelving products from Moresecure, their principal storage product supplier, who were involved closely with the design, supply and delivery of storage products.
Stomor Euro shelving and Palletstor pallet racking were the main products supplied to budget and to schedule.
