3 Line Electrical Wholesale recently partnered with CSS to create their new wholesale establishment in Poole, Dorset. The newly acquired building was transformed by CSS into a modern retail outlet and storage/distribution centre.
Once the turnkey project was awarded to CSS full surveys were carried out, designs & custom storage solutions were devised, deadlines were created, works scheduled, plans finalised and Building Approvals obtained.
The design and planning were undertaken by our design manager and incorporated a storage Mezzanine Floor to maximise the buildings full storage capacity. This became home to Long Span Shelving creating a place of storage and distribution for often awkward shaped products and large wire coils. A custom solution was designed and manufactured for the storage of long conduit. Additional Euro Shelving with louvered end panels was fixed under the mezzanine floor for the organisation of small parts. This allowed easy access and quick picking from the new trade counter and retail area.
A complete front of house display area was designed and fitted. This housed essential retail products to allow customers a perusal area for 3 Lines Products and Services. This included a custom trade counter, office partitioning, shop fittings, showroom lighting in suspended ceilings, new flooring, full shop frontage, a disabled access ramp and security shutters.
CSS are proud to have worked alongside 3 Line Electrical having provided them with a detailed and complete refurbishment, meeting all their expectations and deadlines.
Space planning was also key to achieving the compact first floor layout with all rooms and reception being seamlessly integrated into the existing industrial unit which was just an empty shell before we started.
This successful project led on to an additional 4 x different fit outs and mezzanines for other companies in the same new small industrial estate in preparation for the sailing events of the 2012 Olympics in Portland.
