Works: Wide Aisle High Bay Pallet Racking with low level picking plus long span shelving on a Mezzanine Floor. Anti Collapse Mesh, Full Height Industrial Mesh Wall.

Normans have a very large Retail & Trade Warehouse & Distribution Centre in Five Oaks on the Island of Jersey.
We were asked to Design & Estimate for major refurbishment works within one of their storage areas, the whole area had to be cleared of the 50 year old Racking and Shelving still standing and the dismantling of a very old Mezzanine Floor Structure before works could commence.
The project was awarded to CSS. Plans were finalised and deadlines created, works scheduled to minimise disruption to Normans production. The layout of the racking gave maximum storage capacity and ease of picking and packing.
The whole area had to be secure and a new Full Height Anti – Collapse Mesh System was added with a sliding door for Forklift Access, adding both security and safety to the system and area. The frame protection was also very important to our customer so we added Column Guards to the framework of the system and the ends of the rows were fitted with Frame Barrier Protection.
CSS are proud to have worked with Normans and provided them with an up to date Racking System. The work was undertaken within their time scale of 2 weeks and exceeded their expectations and deadlines set out by Normans.
