Tor Imports opened a brand new site. The new building is to service all product logistics and importations of top quality tobacco products.
Tor Imports were looking for a contractor who could offer a complete consultancy service with top quality products, on site contract management, professional installation and a complete long term sales service.
The project was awarded to Connect Storage Systems, and was completed mid 2008, as CSS met all Tor Imports criteria & work began in March 2008.
The design incorporated a heavy duty Mezzanine floor holding Mobile Shelving for consumable products and Archives. The first floor warehouse office fit out included carpeting, office furniture and all electrics to house the three warehouse staff.
The mezzanine floor included one hour fire rating and lighting.
A humidor was created on the ground floor using double skin steel partitions, fully insulated with adjustable long span shelving with open boarded planed decks to house tobacco products.
Adjustable high level Pallet Racking was installed on the ground floor to house some 150 pallets of miscellaneous bulk products and packaging.
